Yes, I turned 18 on Tuesday the 11th. Don't feel any different... age is just a number, right?

Uhm..
Okay, nobody really cares about birthday presents...
...Christmas presents are usually cooler anyway...
..although, in my case...they're kinda almost the same thing...

ANYWAY. Blahlalala.
Got a magazine about glass (yay, glassblowing), watercolour-lesson-by-day desk calender for 2008, black turtleneck with pretty frilly-ish sleeves, couple of really neat dark/gothic fairy cards, kickass dragon poster, DIY spa kit, HMV giftcard, FEDORA!!!!! (black with white pinstripes, sexiest thing ever), really neat book with a whole bunch of playlists and recommended songs to acquire, annnnnnnnd ahahahaaha, I FINALLY GOT A WEBCAM. I'm so flipping excited, gonna set that up on Saturday.



Oh yeah, holy shit. We leave for Hawaii in roughly a week. Two weeks in Hawaii, one week in Honalulu, and then a week on a cruise ship. Can't remember all the ports of call, but I know the first one is a couple of hours in Hilo, on New Year's Day, where I will have the chance to see *whitecanvasdesigns again!! Crazy!

But at the same time, I'll probably be sick missing somebody so much. (I know you know who you are)



Art-wise, there should be some new stuff fairly soon. I've got a painting from my drawing & painting class that I want to add, as well as a couple of images from a Mushroom Study project that we had to do way back in September.

There will also be a photo or two from my trip to California in July 2006, I've been meaning to post them for over a year


Oh yeah, and I'm supposed to test for my camoflauge belt, in taekwondo, on the 20th of December. Gah!
We got stripe-tested for our one-steps on Wednesday, I was so nervous!
I've tested for two belts prior to the camoflauge (orange and yellow), but both times I was unable to attend the official testings, so this will be my first one, and I'm probably going to be so nervous that I'll be sick.
Although, from what my cousin tells me from when she did the official testing for her orange belt...it wasn't too bad....


Uhhh, so, yeah. That's pretty much all the updating I have to do for now.

EDIT, December 20th, 2007: Tested for our camo belts tonight, and PASSED.
I have a freaking camoflauge belt, mothafuckas!
Sadly, the excitement has already kinda worn off.
